Topic:
Well-known aquascaper Luis Navarro will join us from Houston, TX to demonstrate how to setup a 120G aquascape. The principles that he dicusses will be relevant to any size aquarium, and are sure to be enlightening. Luis has successfully competed in many aquascaping competitions, including winning Best of Show in the Aquatic Gardener Association's 2002 contest.

In addition, we will conduct our normal auction. Members and non-members are welcome!

Directions:

From points south:

  • I-95 NORTH toward BALTIMORE - go 2.7 mi
  • Take exit #29A-B/MD-212 onto POWDER MILL RD toward BELTSVILLE
  • Bear right off exit at light onto Powder Mill Road (Rt. 212 EAST), follow curve and go through unamed intersection (when light is green, of course).
  • Turn Right on CAVERLY AVE - go 0.1 mi
  • Turn Right on KENNY ST - go 0.1 mi
  • Turn Left on 35TH PL - go 0.2 mi
  • Arrive at 11606 35TH PL, BELTSVILLE, on the Right
  • Please do not park in the driveway.

    An alternate from South:
  • Get off the beltway at the College Park exit (Rt. 1)
  • Go to right on ramp towards Laurel. Follow Rt. 1 to Montgomery Avenue ( Shell station and 7-11 on your left) and make left.
  • Follow Montgomery Ave (go through 4 way stop, Sellman Rd.) to 35th Place
  • Make Right 11606 4th house on left.
  • Please do not park in the driveway.

    From points North:
  • Take the I-95 SOUTH exit toward WASHINGTON
  • Take exit #29A/MD-212 EAST onto POWDER MILL RD toward BELTSVILLE
  • Bear right off exit at light onto Powder Mill Road (Rt. 212 EAST), follow curve and go through unamed intersection (when light is green, of course).
  • Turn Right on CAVERLY AVE - go 0.1 mi
