August 2012 – Tank Tours
Instead of a regular meeting this month, members enjoyed the opportunity to tour Joshua Wiegert’s and Kris Weinhold’s fish rooms, before heading over to House of Tropicals in Glen Burnie.
July Meeting
Karen Randall, expert aquascaping judge, writer, and aquatic plant collector, will talk about her most plant collecting trip to Thailand on July 28th at Walker Nature Education Center in Reston, VA. The meeting will start at 1:30pm.
June 2012 Meeting
Sean Murphy hosted GWAPA on June 23rd in his home in Germantown, MD. Joshua Weigert spoke on carnivorous plant species.

Lighting: 1-Two-tube strip light, 1 single-strip light. 12 hours/day. Plants: Val, Crinum, Anubias nana and a couple of other small nana cultivars, A. nana petite, Marimo balls, and Java Moss Fauna: school of glass cats, a school of Debaui cats, Otos, one male cherry Barb, Amano and Red Cherry shrimp, ramshorn and common pond snails.
