Dry ferts not fully disolved

Post by Larry Grenier »

I'm not advocating this just raising the question.

What is the harm in adding dry ferts before they are fulling dissolved? Wouldn't they eventually dissolve in the aquarium anyway?

There's no harm. This exactly how I dose my nitrate and phosphate. Do it when the lights are off or the fish think youre feeding them.

I used to dump mine right in. The fish would often "taste" them as they fell to the bottom. No one died.
