I've never understood why anyone would want to do these. They look so incredibly unnatural to me. It's like setting up a tank with a giant pink castle and dragons, except you use live plants instead. Fish don't live in forests. They're beautiful as works of art, yes, but not as aquariums.

I'll keep my "jungle" tanks. :)

Thanks for posting the link kris. The quality of the pictures is amazing. I can imagine little Hobbits strolling through the woods. :P
I liked the scape by Cheryl Rogers. Go AGA. And, is that Ludwigia growing from the wood branches in picture #2?

Yes, I believe it is Ludwigia -- that's not Cheryl's tank though. That's a picture from the AGA contest.
