December meeting

Post by Jim Miller »

I'm bringing a ton of RCS. One bag for my $$ the remainder of bags (plural) will be for club donation. I thought they would slow down after a while but they're just going crazy. I probably have > 500 in my 90g.

Anybody looking for a happy home (i.e., an aquarium with lots of spot algae) for some extra nerite snails? Or, anybody looking for some extra dollars for some extra nerite snails?

Josh carries nerite snails at 6 for $12 and can likely deliver to the meeting. I'm having him bring me some Amanos myself.

I'm pretty sure I'm coming. I'm planning out a major rescape of my tank in early January. I need to do a driftwood order, but before I spend $80 on the big box from Manzanita.com, does anyone have a load of it that they want to get rid of?

I have a lot of manzanita - probably too much. PM me to let me know how much and what sizes you're looking for.

Also bringing a crypt mix. Bring your own bags. Grab as much as you want for free.

Anyone have any suction cups or suction cups attached to plastic in their junk drawer they don't mind giving up? I need to superglue the pump I use for my reactor to it. The suction cups that came with it are failing in their current use after only a few weeks.

Also, I have lava rock that's a good biological media if anybody wants it. More than I need.
