Plants for Well Aerated Tank....

Post by JLW »

I set up a client's tank as a planted tank. At some point, they added an aerator and a large air stone. And they really like the bubbles.

It is now a well oxygenated tank. Needless to say, some of the plants have languished.

The tank has T5HO lights, no CO2 (would be stupid anyhow). Any suggestions on plants that might be able to deal with virtually no CO2? Anubias, Vallisneria? Any other ideas?

Java fern, some crypts. At least in one of my tanks.

I have a very large airstone in my river tank because the fish are a 80-82 degrees and I have my flash plecos and some gobies in the with a really strong current.
