Stainless Steel tubes?

I've seen stainless steel tubes in the ADA book, and GLA wil have them soon. I like the idea, and the look might be pretty cool. Plus, I'm afraid I will break the glass items. ANyone here seen these in a setup? I'm debating which ones to get: Glass or steel.

I've not seen them, though I also like the look. I know the ADA ones are only 13mm or at least they used to be.
