Question on light suspension and drying soil

Post by londonloco »

I bought the TEK T5 6bulb light fixture and hung it today over my 120g fatboy with the two point suspension kit. I'm having a problem with the cord weighing down the light in back and tilting the fixture up in front. Even when I adjust the suspension wire, it eventually tilts the fixture up. Anyone else have this problem? How to fix it? Have to admit tho, light looks really nice.

I'm also in the process of drying soil. In this weather, it's taken me 6 days to dry the first batch. Good thing we had that warm day, or I'd still be waiting for it to dry. I've have a 200W MH light, shop light, heater and fan blasting it on cloudy days in my garage. On sunny days, my neighbors think I'm nuts moving the tarp around my driveway following the sun. Any suggestions on how to get the soil to dry this time of year?

Thanks, Loni

Can you run the cord up the suspension hanger?

Sounds like you're doing all can to dry the mud. I've got some drying outside, too. It takes a couple of days to dry when it's warm and sunny out.
