It looks to me like petrified wood is a chemical slurry, but I know relatively little about them. Can anyone comment on their stability, or instability in the aqurium?
Petrified wood is a totally mineralized fossil, it should not adversely affect the water. You could test it by a RO soak and see if the KH climbs, but the little I have is inert.<edited><editID>RTRJR</editID><editDate>38085.6183564815</editDate></edited>
