Milwaukee regulator releasing co2 on the presure release

Post by Bgssamson »

I have Milwaukee regulator, model MA957. For some reason, the psi gauge (RIGHT) is stuck at 130 instead of going back to 0. When I turn the presure knob (black) to the left for turning the regulator to nearly off the co2 comes out on the presure release/safety or small hole on the left side of the black knob. No luck on getting any co2. Called Milwaukee they told me its a dirty needle valve they will send me a new one for $7 bucks and I mention that this is not even a year old. I want to know if any of you have the same problem. I might have broken my milwaukee but my Azoo is still up and running. Any parts that I need to change?

Thanks for the help!

Forgot to mention that I do open the black knob first, the cylinder, then the needle valve.

You may as well have Milwaukee ship you the replacement needle valve to see if that fixes it. $7 is a lot cheaper than a new regulator.

Thanks Kris! I already have a replacement Azoo from Drs.. but wanted to know if this is fixable so that I have a reason not to trash it.

Any of these should be fixable, it's just a question of cost. You may want to call them up again, and redescribe your problem to see if you get the same answer.

So, when you turn the black knob counter-clockwise, the pressure doesn't change at all?

Either way, have them send you a replacement part, and go from there.

Krisw - yes the pressure doesn't change and stays to 130 no matter what. I'll bring this to the meeting and see if anyone wants it.
