I'm wondering how well it'd work.
Agassizzii - still can't figure out of the second one is female or a male in drag, but 2 of them. No way these ever go near the 180g. They are hunters, plain and simple - I did not have one surviving fry of endlers in the 55g they shared with 20 endlers... they HUNT.
And a pair of Pevicachromis Taeniatus Nyete. While I desire to put these in my 180g, I'm thinking that there are other dwarf cichlids that might not mow through shrimp as fast as I'm guessing these two will. These two are letting endler fry live, but they are young yet.
Would these two pair be able to cohabitate in that recently set up 75?
Apistos and Kribs together in a 75g?

Take the questionable one to Dupont and see if it feels at home.ingg wrote:I'm wondering how well it'd work.

It could go eitherway. You obviously won't have to worry about interbreeding, but depending on how aggressive the pairs are, you could end up with some being killed off. I thought I could put a pair of kribs with my Nannochromis nudiceps, and the nudiceps killed them off. Damn $45/pair wasted.
If the shrimp population gets going in the 180g, I suspect you'd have no problem keeping them with the Taeniatus. I have tons of Cherry Shrimp in my 75G with the Nannochromis.
