If we do and ADA order I may be interested in a nano, either the Mini M or the 45 P, leaning towards the 45P. Looking for the most efficient lighting. Not willing to spend the $$$ on an ADA fixture though. And I need to be able to find bulbs for it easily. All my searching yields fixtures but cant seem to find replacement bulbs.
As far as wattage, I'm thinking 36 over the 45P should be plenty, its about 8 gallons. I'm open to suggestions
I liking the T-5's only one I have found that will fit

Saltwater version only and no replacement bulbs.
Lighting ADA nanos
I had a similar problem when trying to find a fixture for a 10 gallon aquarium. Found a fixture but it was sold with an antic bulb.
I have 10k bulbs in my nova extremes; I agree with Jeff, I prefer a warmer wavelength light. My replacements will probably be 6500k. I'm sure the plants will like them just as well.

Zoo Med makes a T5 bulb that is 12" long and 9 watts I think. The one i found was the Ultra Sun color temp (5500k). I plan on using a bandsaw to hack a 24" parabolic reflector in half.
These are the bulbs I'm using:
