I'll draw up a schematic, probably this evening or tomorrow.
I don't know what size PVC to use.
Don't know when I should be using unions vs. permanent connections.
Don't know if pvc size matters after couplings.
Speaking of, don't know what to use for, or where to get, couplings from pvc setup to the pump, tank bulkheads, and filter.
Anyone up for helping me figure it out?
Who's up for helping me plan out my plumbing?
schematic
Here is the schematic.
What I need help with is:
Union joints are from Depot or Lowes, pretty sure.
Ball joints there as well?
Is it okay to do all of this in 1" pipe, then resize right before the pump/filter/bulkheads?
What do I need to make those transitions? I realize they are some kind of transition piece, do they need to come from a specialty store, like an online fish shop, or from hardware store?
Barbed fitting for the CO2 reactor? Where to get?
How do I terminate those 4 ends from the pump line in the tank? They are meant to sit on the tank bottom and blow up - but they are also a drain. Can I somehow screen top them or something?
Do I need some kind of bleed valve in this pump loop somewhere?
And any other errors you may see.
