I'm afraid I have to beg off after all. I really wanted to see Sam's solar array as much as the exhibit, but I have too much housework to do that just can't be put off any longer.

Cheers.

That is a very good question. In theory you should be able to park on the street..Conn Ave. But everybody else will have thought of that so you need good luck to get a spot. Don't like to give away my secrets, but you can also park on the other side nearby Adams Morgan and walk over. Arrive early. I'll be there also.

Is it too late to sign up? I am planning on coming to the Amazonia exhibit. I might not make it to the auction.

Go ahead and show up. We will be at 25 with you, but I think we at maximum capacity. Who knows, there is a small chance someone might not make it for some unknown reason.

I am still coming but I will have my kids with me after all, so I'll skip the formal tour and pal around with the kiddos at the zoo then go to Sam's house for the auction.

So, that frees up a spot on the tour.

There is always parking within walking distance of the zoo. Of course, I live in the city, so my definition of "walking distance" may not be yours. With that said, if anyone really doesn't want to pay, come to my house before 1:00 pm and you can ride down with me or I can shuttle you if necessary.
