Hi Rico, you definitely can participate, but it looks like the AZOO 2.5G is not a standard AGA-dimensioned tank. (12 x 6 x 8) Contest rules require that, so if you pick up a standard 2.5G, we're more than happy to fill it with Amazonia for the $7 registration fee. Please let me know before the next meeting if you want to do this.

Oh, oh well. Lemme see, I also have a 2.5 Eclipse, that won't make it either. I might have to pass on this, I don't want to wind up with 3 smal tanks! Can you tell me the third number in the AGA guidelines, it seems like the smiley ate it. >:). And a couple of questions:
Is there a good source for good dry fertz? I think I will try that after all the seachem is used up.
I might not buy another tank for the contest, but if there's any Amazonia left, I would buy it, I've never used it, but hear it great.

Thanks Kris.

The 2.5G is 12 x 6 x 8 inches.

Green Leaf Aquariums is another good online source for dry ferts. Both have supported GWAPA in the past.

Well, it's September now, and the first post in this thread said the contest closed in October. Is there a specific closing date deadline? And where do we send our pics?

Time to get in that last trimming...

The contest closes on October 1st. You can send your pictures to gwapa@gwapa.org. Try and send front-on pictures. Thanks for asking, Chris. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's aquariums!
