We need to start thinking about a weekend to put these together for y'all...

Rob may be the hardest one to schedule in, his work schedule s probably nightmare category for weekends right now. Worst comes to, I'll build his.

What works for you folks?

Pretty much any Saturday anytime or Sunday mid-late afternoon works for me, with exception of this weekend, and the first weekend in June.

I should be able to fit in some time on almost any weekend in May except
the last one.

Ingg, did you decide to take on the responsibility of getting all supplies and us paying you for them, or should we be bringing stuff?

I can snag supplies, not an issue.

This coming weekend stinks for me, any other'd work. Let's let Rob chime in, and if he is shot for it due to work, I'll build his if he's okay with that.

After seeing the light, I'm thinking open topped - the light leg setup hits all four corners of the tank, so making a canopy that doesn't interfere with the light legs is a little problematic (and after having it explained how hot the little light can get, I'm not real fond of the idea of attaching it to the wood above - I can work up a canopy plan if you want to try it though. :) )

In poplar I believe it was about 16 bucks of wood for the base, so you guys know. I should have enough putty to touch up corners, so no issue there...

I am pretty shot for weekends for the next six weeks just about. I may get off for the meeting but thats even a stretch. I am ok with Dave putting it together so that I dont hold you guys up.

Thanks
Rob

Saturday May 12th? I'm just thinking it'd be nice ot have the stand done and ready for when the tanks get set up - little tanks, yes, but I hate the thought of carrying a planted tank around to set it in afterwards, heh.

I'll build Rob's, mine only needs poly now anyhow.

Come up in the morning-ish, we should have you on the road with them assembled and puttied/sanded by afternoon?

I'll double check with the boss (read the wife), but I think the 12th works for me as well. Do we have your address so we can find you?
