I suspend my sugar in jello. The output of CO2 is smalled, but at constant rate (somewhat) and lasts a lot longer. Not sure how big your tank is, but if needed you could add a second bottle.

If you have the packets from hagan, just pour each into a measuring spoon. It will tell you the perfect amount of yeast and baking soda for their container.
