Giant red rotala
Ben, what is the plant that is directly to the right of the Giant Red Rotala? Looks like there are nine or so stems. Green leaves a the bottom that get smaller and turn red toward the top...?Ben Belton wrote:Me too. Awesome stuff. My first cutting is promised to Kris. Then I would have some. That is Ludwigia Pantanal. It and I have a love-hate relationship. Some days it looks amazing, and the next day the leaves are flat and it looks like it is going to die. Next day, looks great again. I have 2 different kinds of plants that were sold to me as "Japan Red" One of them is super blood red at the top, but the older leaves turn green. The other is more of a rust dark red at top and the lower leaves are faded to an orange/rust. I'm thinking the one with the green bottom leaves is the old regular kind of Rotala macrandra that has been around for years, and the one I have that the bottom leaves stay mostly orange/red is the Japan Red. I don't really know though. I like them both, but I don't want to get them mixed together. So one is going to go.jweis wrote:The leaves a bit more magenta vs the red I had hoped or.
