August Picnic

Our August picnic will be held at Tim Koles’ home in Glenn Dale, MD on Saturday, August 28th at noon. Come see the landscape of one of our pond gurus at his place in Glenn Dale, MD, and enjoy some good food while doing so. GWAPA will provide hotdogs/hamburgers, and please let us know what potluck item you’ll be bringing on our forum. Note: we ask that all attendees be vaccinated for COVID, and mask up anytime you enter the house. The majority of the meeting will be held outdoors. If you’re not okay with this, please skip this meeting.

Directions:
From I-495 coming from the south
- Take exit onto 50 east toward Annapolis but stay in the far right lane.
- You will be getting off 50 at the first exit which is 704.
- Head north on 704 which becomes 450 and go through several lights.
- Turn left onto 193 north.
- Pass the firehouse on the right and turn left at the next light onto Daisy lane.
- Watch yourself at this light as people tend to do stupid things at this intersection.
- We are the third driveway on the left which is at the end of the double yellow line.
- We are way off the road so drive down the gravel driveway and park around the turnaround or along the side.
From I-495 coming from the north
- Take exit onto 295 north toward Baltimore but stay in the far right lane.
- You will be getting off 295 at the first exit which is 193.
- Turn left onto 193 south or east.
- Drive about 5 miles and turn right at the light for Daisy lane.
- Watch yourself at this lights as people tend to do stupid things at this intersection. We are the third driveway on the left which is at the end of the double yellow line.
- We are way off the road so drive down the gravel driveway and park around the turnaround or along the side.
