pond "vacuum" to remove algae

Post by shireen »

Is anyone familiar with pond vacuums to suck out algae? Some friends of mine need to do it for their pond. Theyre elderly so i'm a bit concerned about how labor intensive it would be. Is this something they could rent from a home improvement store (they're in Reisterstown).

Thanks,
shireen

They need to buy a UV sterilizer for their pond. This will kill all of the algae in their pond for the most part and keep it from growing back as well.
