I'm sure it will look great. As he said unless they were side by side against a white wall most folks couldn't not tell one from the other.

So, if they look almost the same, whyd did you choose the showcase version? Does the light penetrate deeper? Or, is there another reason?

I like a neutral white light in general. No biggie. He said I'd like it so I went with it. I think it is probably a little brighter to the eye but again no biggie.

I ordered two strips (which shipped yesterday!), so I will probably be blinded anyway. ;)

Seeing all the fun you guys are having, and will money burning a hole in my pocket from AquaMania sales, I ordered a 90 degree Planted Tank fixture for my 75G. I'll start with that, figuring it'll roughly approximate the output I'm getting from two 2x110W PC AHSupply strips. If I need to add another strip later on for the foreground, I'll pick up a 75 degree strip.

I'm looking forward to comparing these verses the TrueLumen and Finnex LEDs I already have.
