I'm wondering what the best way of getting CO2
from one regulator output into several tanks would
be - without incurring too much cost.
Sean - you're using one bottle on several tanks -
how are you doing it. Tips? Tricks?

Several needle valves. I have one for each tank. Of course this is the part of the system I spent my money on. I bought really nice valves with the seals that are designed to last forever. And vernier handles which you could probably do without.

Everything else is just putting in tee's and making sure nothing leaks.

I don't like the one location fits all theory. I like being able to adjust the CO2 at the tank I'm working on. Not across the room where I can't see what's going on.

Washington Valve in Fredrick MD. I'll get you a price later.

I got the B-SS4 valve with 1/4 inch barbed fittings and a Vitron seals, I think. The seals were a step up for $5 from a 'good' rating to a 'last forever' rating. The vernier handles drove my cost up but are unncessary. <edited><editID>SCMurphy</editID><editDate>38049.4581365741</editDate></edited>

The base B-SS4 brass metering valve is $43.00
With the long term seals it is $51.00
The two barbed connectors are $6.40
plus tax
I added vernier handles to mine which cost me $16.00 a valve.

So you can get away with ~$50 for a valve that will dial down to 5 mubbles a minute and last awhile, $57 to have it last forever, $74 to have it look fancy. <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0">
