How do you clean light reflectors?

I have Tek II light reflectors on my 120g.

When I was replacing a bulb I noticed the reflectors had a bunch of tiny water spots that are definitely reducing its reflective abilities.

Any suggestions, has anyone ever cleaned their reflectors? I don't want to ruin the finish or possibly reduce the reflective ability anymore than I already.

try windex with a very soft cloth.

DO NOT SPRAY ON THE REFLECTOR!!!! The windex WILL kill your fish.

Unplug and remove the light from over the tank. Remove the bulbs. First I would try to wipe them down with just a damp cloth (just water). Wipe dry right away. If that didn't work I would then try some mild cleaner sprayed on a cloth. Again, wipe dry right away. If its clean, reinstall the bulbs and return the light to the tank.

Better safe than sorry.

Use distilled or RO water if you have it. That way there won't be any new spots from cleaning. Use a cotton cloth for wiping. Paper products will scratch the surface.

Nothing works better than distilled white vinegar.

I would also let them cool a little as well if they are running

Some time ago I wrote AH Supply that question, and here is the response they sent me:
"The best way to clear the reflectors is with a somewhat acidic solution like 1/2 distilled vinegar and 1/2 water. Dab it on generously, let it sit a couple of minutes and then wipe off with a clean cloth.."
