Post by Mopar32985 »

Hi everyone was just curious who all here are keeping shrimp and what kind. Ever since i got these sapphire blue shrimp at the meet its really making me want to get more species. I have only ever kept these cherries and ghost shrimp.

I have yellow cherries and crystal red shrimp in my "planted" tank, and red cherries in my 75 community (they don't come out much since they may get eaten). I haven't seen the yellow cherries in a while, but I much prefer the crystal red anyways. I may be tempted to get the sapphire blue in the future (they may cross breed with my yellow cherries, but if they're gone, moot).

I have malawa, "tangtai" mischlings, blue diamond, red cherry, red rili, and some crystal black mischlings.

I have a few varieties that don't breed in captivity, too: Atyopsis moluccensis, Atya gabonensis, and Amano Shrimp.

I have some cherries and a few malawas. I am planning on ordering tigers (shrimp, not big cats) in the near future.

I am not the best at caridinas, honestly. Still learning.
