Baby Cardinals!!!

Post by DelawareJim »

I've had Cardinal Tetras breed in my 110. I first noticed them about 10 days ago as little clear slivers about 1/8 inch clinging to the glass. At first I thought they were going to be Tanichthys micagemmae, but now they are clearly Cardinals. They were perfectly clear except for the eyes. About 3-4 days later they started showing a neon spot above their eye. As the aged, the spot grew into a stripe and their belly started colouring up. Now they're about 1/4 to 5/8 inch and I have 3 distinct schools hovering in the plants.

Woo hoo!

Cheers.

Lol! You know how hard it is to take a picture of a school of 1/4 inch fish swimming around?

Cheers.
