Folks:

What's your experience with snail wreckers? Yes, botias, clown loaches... but the others?

I've heard that Blue Rams (Papiliochromis ramirezi, Microgeophagus ramirezi) attack snails...

The reason I asked is that I just witnedssed 4 Pelvicachromis pulcher 'Red' juvis (Ghori's fry, now growing up!!) gang up to attaack some snails! They had been in a bare-bottomed grow-out tank, and I moved them into a 20 long today... Fun to watch!

Yep - Pelvicachromis pulcher will eat some types
of snails. They will probably have a hard time with
MTS but Ramshorn and pond snails are fair game!

I can only comment on mine, which I think are blues...

They don't care in the slightest about snails unless I crush them. MTSs, pond snails, apple snails, unidentified snails that hitch-hike on new plants... doesn't matter. They don't mess with them at all.
