Hey Tim,

When you click "Save As", a dialog pops up. Underneath the "File name" box where you type the name of the file, you can select the file type from the "Format" dropdown. "JPEG" is under that dropdown.

The "Save for Web" option should be under the "File" menu, right below "Save As."

Private Message me if you still have problems, and I'll help you figure it out. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures. <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0">

You're in the Sticky for it.

Click on the GWAPA Forum Index.
Scroll down to The Aquarium.
It's the 3rd forum, Plant Database.

Cheers.

Oh I thought it was an actual separate page and this was just the discussion board for it. I think if it was in the format the way plantedtank.net does it it would be easier to organize and search through

Now would be a good time for people now add or update the database. Since Kris was asking if Ranalisma was still in club club, we should take an invigorating of what we have.

Actually, what we need is a spreadsheet with a list of who has each species.

Cheers.

It's not a spread sheet but some plants are posted in the "who's growing what" thread, I keep mine updated as it's good back up to have a list stored on another drive.
Sincerely,
Tim

Okay all. I've started the GWAPA plant database with a couple of plants and member names pulled from the holiday potluck thread. I've used "User Names" to start to protect peoples privacy. Feel free to use either your GWAPA user name or real name as you feel comfortable with.

Please use proper names when entering your plants.

Nice Job Jim, my new computer only has Excel starter, which means it does nothing but take up space.

This should be a stand alone Sticky so you don't have to dig thru the thread to find it, I'm sure Kris will be along soon.
Sincerely,
Tim

I just entered all of the plants that I have growing in my tanks that I had listed in my little personal plant catalog. I think I have more that I will add as I get more gumption.
