Rotala rotundafolia var green lives up to its name.
It's a relativly easy plant to grow. In lower light,
it'll grow straight up but at higher light levels has
a tendency to grow horizontally - a trait that can
be taken advantade of in certain aquascapes.

In higher light, it sends numerous sideshoots, quickly creating a dense bunch. Propagates well via cuttings.
If you haven't tried it - I reccomend that you do.

i like those plants. i have them in my 20 gallons h tank. also if u have bright light with co2 dissolved completely in ur tank(lets say 2 bubbles per second), u will see their photosymthesis make lots of bubbles. very pretty!

how tall they can be? mine seems to grow horizontally now. i want them straight up not horizontal. please grow two inches more!!! please grow the way that i expect!!! dont go horizontal please... <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"> <edited><editID>Pigheaddd</editID><editDate>38037.002662037</editDate></edited>
