Hemianthus Callitrichoides- HC - Dwarf Baby Tears

Post by Nikhilsk99 »

I am going to try "Hemianthus Callitrichoides- HC - Dwarf Baby Tears" for the 1st time. Which is the good substrate for it?
I have a bag of "Eco-Complete Planted Aquarium Substrate -- Carib Sea" should I try it or you have better recommendations for substrate?

I think the best thing would be a very fine substrate like AS powder but I have it planted in regular AS Amazonia and it works, you can plant it in any soil (I would think) but the short roots are a pain to get in place so have your best tweezers ready and maybe a skewer, etc., good luck.

I also think sand would work good but you would have to ask around the club as mine seems to like ferts, Excel, and lots of light to grow good so a nutient poor soil like sand might not work but it would be idea as far as planting goes.
Sincerely,
Tim
