That's awesome. I have a 40 breeder and always found it difficult to deal with how short it is. Doesn't look like you've had any trouble

You're right Ben that the height is problematic. I used to try growing things like L. aromatica and P. stellatus in there, but found that they didn't recover near as nicely from trimming because I'd really have to trim them short to get to the bush up at the proper height. Using Rotalas, Didiplis, Eriocaulon 'Type 2', and then Blyxa aubertii have helped me with the height issue.

Sometimes I think about selling the 40G, and replacing it with a 50G as it's the same footprint but taller.

I think that's one of your better scapes in that tank Kris. There's a lot more slope to the "bushes" of stems.

That's real nice of you to say, Aaron! In truth, this is more of a snapshot that happen to look fairly decent. I actually need to trim and shape the bushes a bit more.

I'm not sure what it is. It's a crypt that Aaron and I saw at Scales in their show tank, and Andrew said it was Crypt. wendtii -- it's not. Jim saw it the other day when picking up plants, and he wasn't sure what it was either. It's nice looking though. It's got consistently wavy/crinkled leaves, and not due to any deficiency. Aaron, did yours survive the move?
