I'm definitely there. If anyone has cherry shrimp or other shrimp to sell PM the price and we can do the exchange at the metting. I am looking at purchasing between 10-20.

I was planning on bringing a few shrimp. Nathan probably
has a lot more than I do. Just bring them for the mini-auction.

Unfortunately, my shrimp stock is at an all-time low. During my post-surgery layoff from tank care, I lost a lot of shrimp. Cristy will get to see the single survivor of the Rednose I got the day we met at AC to trade a plant. <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0">

The tanks are only just coming back under control - the layoff was too good an excuse not to do some long-defered re-arrangements so that I could set up some more trials. Plus one catastrophic tank failure (my first, naturally it happened at almost midnight) and the 50 leaking and requiring resealing. <edited><editID>RTRJR</editID><editDate>38280.4427777778</editDate></edited>

Follow-up from the meeting - although I had promised myself today off without chores, guilt go to me. I did restart the circulating range, short-circuiting from the #5 tank (the empty but still water-filled twenty-long in the middle of the middle tier) so I can play with the new 30 in peace instead of pressure and guilt. Besides, I was afraid the bacteria would die off from my two one-hour sessions of operation per day.

I'll wait a week or so before I pull the two 20-longs to replace with the other 40. It will take me that long at least to get the 30 settled in anyway.

But I have to get the room a bit neater before herself returns mid-week. She would be profounding shocked at my letting you see all see it in such a mess. We will not tell her, right?

Robert I've been meaning to tell you that the Julian Sprung ditch plant you showed us is a banana plant. <em>Nymphoides aquatica</em>

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up! ;)

You're kidding? Bizarre - much thinner, softer leaves than I have had before from that plant (I went through a period of having bananas in the top tier tanks of the circulating range, as the undersides of the floating leaves are so great looking. At that tank level the underside is the visible part - but they do shade out everything else, even Anubias). When/if they reach the surface I should be able to tell.

Many thanks!
