March meeting?

Believe me Jim, I wanted it there too. But it is a little further out for most people, especially those from MD. Also, that location is still not sure what they can do with their meeting room because they are subject to different rules from the other locations because it is located in a different county. Less hoops to jump through at the Fairfax and Merrifield locations.

But just because it is the Fairfax location, doesn't mean we still can 't have wine

So what plants are people bringing to the meeting?

I would love a preview of what plants I want to outbid people for...muwahaha...

I'm bringing:
Echinodorus 'Harbii Rosa' that I brought back from Europe
Bolbitis,
Crypt. pontederiifolia,
Crypt. balansae

And maybe some other trimmings.

For the auction, I will have:

- Hygrophila corymbosa 'Angustifolia'
- Heteranthera zosterifolia (stargrass)
- Hemianthus micranthemoides/glomeratus (baby tears)

All are easy to grow and do not require CO2 or high light. Medium light is enough.

I don't have any plants to bring, but I do have some extras from Ken's that will donate to the auction. Specifically I have a full sealed bag of Ken's Premium Vegetable Sticks with Calcium (good for shrimp), and almost a 1/2 pound of Ken's Premium Guppy Flake which I took out of the original wrapping and moved into a screw top container. I took out about a 1/2 cup's worth for my own use.

I am HOPING someone will bring some nice red plants, and some TALL plants for me to bid on. I had some tall crypts, but they all melted, so I am looking for something tall that WON'T melt and which will give me some instant gratification.

Polygonum kawagueanum
Rotalla H'ra
Staurogyne

And probably other things, as trimming allows!

Victor--Sorry, no clue about species. I just got it at the AGA auction where it was only labeled as "Staur" (I filled in the missing letters).

I'll show it around, maybe folks will know. It's a pretty little plant--low grower, dense leaves and, as stem plants go, a slow grower.

Here's a photo of the tank I'm trimming it from (from a week ago)--you can see it in the back left and one small bit in the center front.
