Do you guys ever have fish at the mini-auctions? I'm looking to scale back some of my endlers. Would anyone be interested?

Yes fish have been offered though not many. I'm sure we can find a home for them.   <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0">

Anyone else thinking about coming, I'm asking someone to bring some folding chairs and I'm trying to make sure we have enough, everyone is invited. This is not a RSVP event, no one is excluded. If you don't say yes and still want to come, please do.

I wanted to thank you guys for coming to the house and being a captive audience, I think we had a good meeting. <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0">   I hope at the next meeting I'm not the majority seller of the plant auction again, that would be three in a row and I'd think everyone would be tired of what I have to sell. <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0">

To you newer people, take a look at what we have going on with the convention, it is going to be a great time! And please, let someone know if you can help out in some way.   <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0">

I'll try to finish the write up of the SSS this weekend for the people that missed out, and for everyone who believed me and didn't take notes. <edited><editID>SCMurphy</editID><editDate>38126.3170601852</editDate></edited>

Well thanks back at ya for opening up your home to us. I took your advice and found a used 55g and a 10g stand for $40.00 on reefcentral yesterday. I just cleaned it up. It has some scratches, but they aren't noticeable w/ water...at least not until I grow some nice algae in them <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0">

Anyway, I'll be looking for that article. I'm gonna give this soil substrate thing a shot when I set it up.

Sean,

In your write-up, be sure to describe your wall-o-java moss.

Healthy looking rare plants - very nice!
Soil substrates - interesting!
Java moss growing on the backwall of a tank - priceless!
