Sadly, no. I did not build them myself...although I had plans in hand to get my dad to bust out the saw. I did a ton of research and wound up finding a pre-made solid wood cabinet that would fit the dimensions I needed and wasn't a gazillion dollars. It's actually a bank of 3 cabinets, the end two w...

Should I assume that you speak from experience "Other Jeff"? That was pretty much my concern, that any water spilled would leech between the wood and lexan by suction and never get a chance to dry out...or at least not in any timely fashion. So other than polyurethane, do you folks set you...

dirty dirt.

Ok, so it's not really *dirt*, but catchy subject line, eh? I picked up a bag of SMS at the last meeting, and am just getting around to thinking about maybe doing something with it. So I busted out a bucket and poured some in to start the rinsing process. I think I need to go to substrate washing sc...

Flag Fish...

So I have a pack of these guys (Jordanella floridae "American Flag Fish") I picked up when I had a wicked hair algae issue but now they're just schooling around getting fat on regular foods. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in a "rental program", you borrow the cleanin...
