I too want to thank you guys for the wonderful job you have done. GWAPA is a lot of fun because of your hard work.

I probably have 50 or more in a 2.5. But with that many they won't breed.
So I take out most of the adults except for a couple males and the berried females and soon there are another 50 or 100 microscopic babies. It seems to take about 2 months or so for them to get some size.

Looks like it should be okay as it is only carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Of course you would want to neutralize or dilute it if you used it to clean out a tank.

Anyone know where to get a 75 gph canister? I bought a Prime 10 from Big Al a couple years ago and it is working get but they don't sell them in the US. Most of the other small canister filters I have seen are above 100 gph some way above.

So what filter are you using on your 5 gallon tanks?

Okay. Just in case. I think that anyone shutting the valve and let the CO2 build up over night might get away with it for a while depending on how well the seals hold.
