its been running for about a year an a half, lost a bunch of fish to unexperience, had tons of anubias for a long wile and now i finally have it at a point i like, what do you think? some of the critters include: bushy nose, clown, loricariae? nop, i got plecos, clown, bushy nose, wipped tail, chocolate and a marbled sailfin :P had never had any tipe of issue with algea 8)

would be nice that you keep the ring, try some larger petrified wood or maybe rainbow rock, the ones with holes can give a nice effect when the plants start growing that you can see them pock out of it, or you can use it as a planter which is what i usually do 8)

this is the piece of african root i got and one tiny piece of anubia nana about a year and a half ago, now the anubia is like 10 inches long divided in two long sterns, what do you think?

by the way, sorry the spots all over the glass, that was after a couple of plants change :P

i also don't see any wood in there, a nice large piece of african root in an angle against the corner back with a small anubia in the holes would look awesome with it starts growing 8)

i think that if you pull the vals it is going to look too empty in the back, it gives is that nice filled look, now if you insist on pulling those then how about adding a few swords to the left back of the aquarium, maybe melon swords could look nice.
