Root tabs
I have been using Ghazanfar Ghori's macro A, B mix for a while and seems to work nicely with Amazon Swords, Java Fern, Anubias and Sagittaria subulata. I also use SeaChem Flourish for micronutrients. At the last GWA meeting I learned the value of root fertilization, particularly for the Swords. I am...

Re: C02 Drop Checker Queries
I guess I wasn't as specific as I thought... good questions I meant: how critical is it that I reach the C02 saturation that is, presumably, ideal (for me that is matching the reference to indicator solution), but in technical terms perhaps it is 30ppm. I have seen multiple recommendations to run th...

C02 Drop Checker Queries
I have a GLA drop checker, with the indicator solution. http://greenleafaquariums.com/products/cal-aqua-pearl-drop-checker.html A couple of questions 1. Is it essential for my indicator solution on a daily basis to reach the maximum saturation (C02)? . It seems like I have to really crank up the C02...

Query - C02 being sucked into intake
I have a BOT filter which is not far from my C02 diffuser. I am wondering why folks think of the following. Many, but not all perhaps 75% of the C02 bubbles are being sucked into the intake of the BOT filter. I am not sure if this is a good or bad thing... 1. Would the C02 pass through the filter an...

Re: Holes in my plants and no moss growth
I just started C02 and micro/macro fertilizer and noticed the exact same sort of holes in my plants, I could use the same pictures you provided. Given that nothing else has really changed in my tank and the tank has been set up for a couple of years (never having holes on low tech tank), I can't fig...

Re: Simple Macro Mix
For those interested, I edited Ghazanfar Ghori's macro mix excel, mainly to determine how much to purchase and how long the batches would last based on tank size and dosing. Hopefully, I didn't make any errors. Should be attached. Comparing Greenway Biotech (https://www.greenwaybiotech.com) to GLA, ...
