Hi I just found a bunch of unidentified little creatures in my fishless 30g. Critter 1 looks like a cross between a shrimp, daphnia and an insect. They are 2mm max with some just big enough to be visible. They're clear/white, they swim and crawl over substrate. Critter 2 is some type of worm (I thin...

Please help ID these swords that I have from the group order. One is a Red Melon or Red Rubin Sword and the other is probably a Kleiner Bar Sword. Sorry for the terrible pics. <img src="uploads/CristyKeister/E2A_DCP_1532.JPG" border="0"> <img src="uploads/CristyKeister/ZD8_D...

For the sword, just pull out any leaves you don't want.

Don't know about the crypts.

Great! I'll bring it. If you have a tool to open the canisters, will you bring that, too?
Thanks!

Model# H-F1032-43A Applied Membranes Inc. Looks like the model# is just for the carbon filter part of the system. The system is a 110gpd.

It has 2 canisters that sit horizontally above the 3 tall canisters - 1 is bigger, the other is the carbon.

It says Applied Membranes Inc with a model #. I don't know if that's for the whole thing or just that part, but it's the only name on it.

Can it be opened to check if there is a membrane? I tried unscrewing the canisters from the tops, but they don't budge.

I bought a new RODI filter on ebay and hooked it up for the first time today, but I think something's not right. All the water goes to the storage tank - there's no waste water. I think it's either hooked-up wrong or labeled wrong. Is there someone who could take a look at it and tell me what's wron...

Some nice pics, G! I'm definitely psyched to start a few petrie dishes, though I suspect it's a bit more complicated than what we were shown today. Just cut off the growing tip of a plant and put it in agar with a little sugar seems too simple to be true. Robert gave them a short list of plants for ...
