I've been trying to get back into the forums like Planted Tank a little bit. Do they pick up in winter? They are kind of annoying right now. People with weird and ridiculous advice.

I have only done a tiny amount of reading on these plants, but I'm under the impression they can get by on just photosynthesis. I still have a lot of questions though. For example, Venus Fly Traps can under no circumstances be fertilized. So where do they get their nutrients?
