Except I have never had lotus in this tank so unless the lotus was mixed in to the swords root system I am not sure how thats the case. The stems in question seem to be coming up as part of the sword plant as well and the leaves of both are almost identical. There are four swords in close proximity ...

I have never seen swords send leaves to the surface in this manner before. I have had plenty of swords whose leaves reached the surface of a 75 but not usually with stems like flowers. Thoughts?

I plan on coming with my daughter. If anyone has Bristlenose babies/juvies that can bring them to the meeting I would be interested. Also looking for crypts, anubias and other slow growers.

Who plans on coming? What are you bringing food or drink wise? What are you bringing for the auction?

We will have several dips, with chips, crackers, pretzels, and some veggies. We also have sodas and lemonade to drink.

Well unfortunately I blocked out the time on Saturday to be able to come but have commitments already on Sunday. Guess I will make it to the August meeting then.

So this months meeting is where exactly? and just to confirm, it is the 22nd, which is a Sunday?

Looks more like a stunted form of some kind of stem plant to me rather than a moss. Not sure what stem plant it might be though looking at the two photos.
