Re: Simple Macro Mix

That 5Ca is 'Calcium Nitrate'. In the US, they sell the double salt incorrectly as calcium.nitrate. ugh.

Get the GLA calcium.nitrate and use as 5Ca.

Re: Simple Macro Mix

OK after MUCH experimentation, successes and failures - partly due to the industry calling using 'Calcium Nitrate' quite loosely ( ), the latest results are VERY encouraging. Here's the mix for a small batch (I usually multiply everything by 10 since I use a lot of this): Solution A: Start wi...

Starting to lose track of what I posted up here and what I'm using - should be the same as what we had shared earlier but I'll post it here just to be safe... Stock A Water (milliliters) 250 KNO3 (gram...

Re: Simple Macro Mix

Kris - like I'd mentioned, I'd switched back to the standard EI, to re-establish a baseline. Now that I've been using this updated recipe for the last 2-3 weeks (minus the boron since I want to control that separately) I can see an obvious positive difference in the growth of myro sp. Guyana and all...
