April Meeting

Tuesday, April 25th, 2023

Over twenty people showed up to the April meeting to listen to Jonathan Butkus’ talk on how to keep North American native fishes and plants and how to set up biotopes for them. Furthermore, he discussed collecting fishes including some methods, state laws, and ethical questions. We were all riveted by his highly entertaining presentation. Then we had our regular monthly auction with some unusual mosses, tank raised Corydoras, and tetra species.

February Meeting

A few snow showers couldn’t stop GWAPA members from coming to Josh Wiegert’s house to hear Jen Williams talk about beginner aquascaping techniques! There were many new and returning faces, an exciting raffle for two donated items, and a bustling auction. Below are a few of Jen’s valuable tips:

January Meeting

Over 25 people showed up to the first GWAPA meeting which was presided by our new president, Arlene Wagner. This month’s presentation was a beginner’s guide to setting up a planted tank. It was far the best presentation of the year so far with an excellent speaker who kept the audience captivated during his high-interest talk.
