Suggestion for Lighting

Post by plant57va »

Ok so I am going to be orchestrating a tank build for the JRAS SPRING FLING
and I have a Cobalt Cvue18 tank that Jen is going to set up for a demonstration....
it does not have a light, so,
can anyone give me some ideas on lighting for this setup.....
the dimensions are 20"x16"x13" (working tank area without filter is 20x11x13
wondering what sorts of lights are out there where we could mount from the back ????
or I am pretty much up for ideas here..
thanks
david

What about a C-Ray 200? Might be a bit much for the tank, though.

Seriously, I think a pair of their mini LEDs would be adequate, they've got pretty good coverage.

Hygger, who I think is a club sponsor, makes a clip on that would fit just fine, too:

The Hygger light is pretty nice and, if you find the Hygger facebook page and strike up a chat, he'll sometimes give discounts to club members.
