May Meeting

Post by Cristy Keister »

Hi All,

Hope everyone can come to my place for the meeting next Saturday. I'm making tacos with all the fixings. Post here if you'd like to bring a dish. We could use some drinks.

Michael Barber will talk about his beautiful pond. I hope to get some new plants for my pond!

I'll bring soda. Or is another type of drink preferred?

I plan to be there. I have the usual pond plants; lilies, umbrella palm, black magic taro and free parrots feather. Let me know if you are interested in any thing as I will not bring stuff, especially the lilies, if I don't hear back. All the lilies are in pots and fertilized for the year - ready to drop in a pond or other body of water. I know I have one yellow for sure and three pinks but I still have some unknowns as well.

As for food, not sure yet, maybe drinks

Tim, I'd like a pink lily and an umbrella palm.

Christy - Sounds good. Ill bring one of each for you.

Linus - I wish. I need to sell off my extras to make room for one of those. I helped a place I used to work out earlier this year with their ponds. I gave them some of the lilies I had and in return they were going to buy some nice unusual named cultivars that I could get a piece of when we divide them. What did they end up doing? Buying no name pink, red, and yellow lilies. The same thing I was giving them for free. Arrrrrrgh.

I've been in search of a King of Siam lily for a few years. They aren't supposed to be hard to find, but they are always out of stock when I look.

Tim, I'll take a lily. Any color is fine.
