Halocaridina rubra for cheap

Post by halak »

I got 20 of these brackish (can live in freshwater but not reproduce according to my readings) shrimp for $25 shipped (yes, that included shipping) here:

http://www.shrimpmart.net/

All the shrimp survived the three days in transport from Hawaii and are happily eating peas now. I read that they can live for 20+ years.

Josh,

I don't think you would be able to kill my fruit fly, but you can certainly try. You might want to have a second monitor on hand before you try...

Thanks for the the pass along info. They are cheap! I've been wanting them since I saw them last summer at a fish store in San Diego. I think I'll get some for myself too!

Even if I missed free shipping ($24.99 plus $5.99 priority shipping - comes to $31) this looks like a really good price - and being hardy and living for 20+ years really adds t othe value.
