Fish in Lake Whetstone?

Post by Sonny Disposition »

I just Googled Viktor's address on the map. Does anyone know if there are there any fish in Lake Whetstone?

Yes, there are. I think one type is koi or goldfish. There are sunfish in other nearby lakes, too. One year I caught a few sunfish with a dip net and took pictures; then I released them back.

I'm sure there are, the lake has been there for some time, I live near it in the early 80's.

I have caught some nice bass from that lake. There are some world record sized carp in there too.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up! ;)

Yes I would imagine eggs get transfered on ducks feet, frogs, etc. there should be a ton of life in that pond.

Big carp, huh? I learned to fish catching carp and feral goldfish in New Jersey. Maybe I'll have to boil up some macaroni and take a trip out there this Spring.
