Are dwarf hairgrass the same with E. acicularis??

Yes and no, there are two main species used in aquaria, E. acicularis and E. parvulus. Both are called hairgrass and parvulus is smaller but for some reason everyone calls E. acicularis, dwarf hairgrass.

thanks for reply! dwarf one should be very thin, and wont grow tall i believe. im going to pick some dwarf up tomorrow afternoon. hope they are what i want. i always thought they are the same, but it seems they are not. <img border="0" src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0">
