March Meeting

Post by halak »

The meeting is 12 minutes from me, so if any club member would like to buy some manzanita or rocks from the GWAPA stock pile, they are welcome to stop by my house after the meeting. I am the keeper of the hardscape materials.

I will bring some chocolate chip cookies for the meeting and some Mexican oak leaf (Shinnersia rivularis) for the auction, and maybe other things, as well.

Sean will come with some pizza, so we will be extra excited to see him this month.

Anyone going up to Damascus from Herndon/Reston area. Willing to carpool as trip up 270 takes 50 to 60 minutes.

Due to downsizing I have a couple crates of the CA 'mossy rock' (is that what we call it??) I can bring with a scale if any is interested in purchasing.

Hey guys, I'm hoping to attend my first meeting today, and when I look at Damascus Enterprises on the map, there's no business at that location. Is the meeting at a farm house?

I just talked to the owner who said that there is a mailbox with the number on it. Also, I will get there earlier and put up our GWAPA sign.

Thanks Viktor. Google maps says street view was last updated here in 2012, so that's likely where the confusion came from. See everyone at the meeting!

I don't "come with pizza", I will be bringing pizza.

Dear Gabriel,
Sean was making a joke because my sentence has two meanings.
My next English lesson for you will not be free. :D
