Re: Annandale meeting
If anybody has a snail problem my puffers would love to help you out.....no MTS though. Yes, I'm serious.
It is not murder if you're killing snails.

There are no happy endings.
Endings are the saddest part.
So just give me a happy middle
And a very happy start.

My puffer stopped eating pond snails, unless crushed. I had to trim its teeth 2 weeks ago. I wish mine ate snails so I didn't have to trim teeth

Re: Annandale meeting
The trick with the puffers is to keep them in good numbers. If there's no competition, they learn to slurp the snails out of the shells. If you have a bunch of them, that's too slow, and they gotta crunch.

I think the problem is it learned to eat the blackworms I feed the discus.JLW wrote:The trick with the puffers is to keep them in good numbers. If there's no competition, they learn to slurp the snails out of the shells. If you have a bunch of them, that's too slow, and they gotta crunch.
