August Meeting

Post by RTRJR »

Directions on the GWPA site for getting here are a tad old, coming from the Greenway area the house next south of mine sold long ago (to much nicer folks BTW) so there is no For Sale sign. Other than that, it all still applies SFAIK.

The bananas are doing well, the tanks are awful but may recover someday. My vision is improving just a bit, so there is still hope (unfortunately I can now see how bad they are). Ten days after the meeting is treatment startup again, so I'll likely do my first blackout then.

Likely attendance would be appreciated...

I missed that for-sale part of the directions when I put it up. I've removed that line.

I'll be at the meeting!

I'm planning on coming. Any plant or shrimp requests?

I would still like some of those algae-eating snails if anybody has extra.

Aaron;

Have any Lagenandra meeboldii you can part with? Just kidding.

Actually, i'm afraid I'm going to have to miss this one. My folks are coming to visit this weekend.

Sean, I'll have to pick up my snails through work if that's not a problem. I'm going to be gone for about a week or two in September, & I don't want to stick you with keeping them for so long.

Robert, I still want some Crinums when you thin the tank. If you do it before the meeting, maybe you could pass them through Sean if he wouldn't mind being the conduit?

Thanks all.

Cheers.

Jeff, I have a few snowballs (babies mostly), natural color snowballs, redclaws and cherries.

I'll be there.

Jim Call me I'll PM you. Lunch in ChinaTown could be fun.

I'll bring a bunch of the snails with me for the meeting. Any idea on numbers people want? I got a few extras this time.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!

I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up! ;)

I'd like at least 5 of those narite (?) snails if possible, 10 if there's that many to spare.

Sean, I could use another 10 snails too if you have them.
